This rubber bung has a long taper to ensure a tight seal that prevents any oxygen from contamination. It also utilizes a unique lip so you don't have to worry about it falling into your carboy. Same measurements as #8 1/2 rubber stopper. Fits 5, 6 and 6.5 plastic carboys and 34 liter demijohns.
